Ilanit has a passion for helping others. Whether it is to collect gifts for children with Cancer; participating as a volantary Board Member for the Alpine Autism Center, Coaching for the Special Olympics, or establishing some kind of disability awareness campaign for people with special needs - Ilanit is always involved in something that helps others. 

She served on the Board for the Special Education Advisory Committee (SEAC) for School District 38. She serves on the Board for the Alpine Autism Center. She runs an Autism, Aspergers and Related Disorders Support Group, as well as volunteers her Parent Mentor services for parents of children with Autism. Ilanit has a strong work ethic, in real estate and in life and has dedicated her spare time to serving and helping others, in work and in her personal life.
